Ólöf Sæmundsdóttir graduated as an art major from Breiðholt Comprehensive College in 2007 and completed her sculpting diploma at the Reykjavík School of Visual Arts in 2010. She has had four one person shows and has taken part in various group shows.

 

Ólöf is inspired by the Icelandic landscape, animals myths and antiquities. Ólöf is a member of the Association of Icelandic Ceramic Artists. She is one of the owners of Gallery Stígur in Reykjavík as well as being the owner of Gallery Listasel in Selfoss. Ólöf runs her own studio in Selfoss.
